Welcoming US associations for 3 inspiring days in Maastricht

For the fourth year running, Maastricht Convention Bureau and MECC Maastricht were delighted to welcome a select group of US association leaders for an exclusive three-day experience. As part of the Magical Maastricht program, delegates enjoyed an immersive introduction to our region. They discovered its venues, knowledge hubs and unmistakable European charm before traveling onward to IBTM World in Barcelona. With the support of our business partners and the MERLN Institute for Technology-Inspired Regenerative Medicine, the program offered meaningful local insights. A true highlight was the warm personal welcome from Mayor Alain Krijnen of Eijsden-Margraten at the historic Castle Mheer, adding a memorable sense of place to the visit.

Members of the European Society of Association Executives (ESAE) joined us for the evening. Managing Director Jurgen Moors highlighted the impact of the regional scaling-up of our convention bureau, which is considered unique within the European meetings industry.
